Large UK Cancer Charities would rather fund perpetual research, for the 'just around the corner treatment' business model is very profitable for them and their Executives.

kabunushi,

CDF is one source but they are likely only to “make room” for a limited number of GBM and rGBM patients as they are obviously already at max spend rate for other cancer types with new drugs. They will certainly fund some GBM and rGBM patients and “might” be able to fund 10-15 patients per month if they prioritize GBM treatment once made available.
Braintrust is a type of hybrid charity and crowdfunding source that works to create awareness of need and support for patients. They are a growing organization that will likely gain more traction as DCVax-L becomes a big new item in the UK.
Cancer Research UK is focused more on research than actual direct care of patients so they would likely provide mostly indirect support. There is another fund that I believe flipper44, myself and others read up on that represented about $600,000,000 of funding source but I am having trouble finding it in my notes right now. That source seemed to be one of the best sources for actual direct patient benefit though. Will let you know when I find it or maybe others will find it first. Best wishes.
