Good enough? I'm not sure what that means. JAMA isn't the end all. JAMA reported interesting yet slightly nebulous results for the scientific community to digest. They laid out the EC and other issues to allow the reader to decide. So far no corrections or retractions. Then there's always the issue of cost which JAMA has no involvement.
Jama doesn't approve anything. Jama doesn't require what the RAs do to publish an article. Numerous peers have reviewed the Jama article in the comments section of Jama and say exactly what the RAs will. The data as it is is not sufficient to prove efficacy.
