Can they just design and run a new trial? It was muddled up in so many aspects (endppoint change, eca). Integrity of trial already lost. Journal article was used to try and explain the results BUT doesnt gyarantee anything. Just keep things simple. Design and run a proper trial but that wasn't the goal.
