It appears to set narrower limits on which adults aged 60 to 74 should receive the shots.

I'm not sure Barron's is right about this. My interpretation is that the "shared decision" scenario remains in effect for adults age 50-64 who do not have a major heath issue; if my interpretation is correct, then ACIP did not narrow vaccination eligibility for age 50-64, but rather strengthened the recommendation for a subset of this age group (those who fall in the third bullet point of #msg-174663288).

I did not listen to the ACIP hearing, so my interpretation might be wrong.

I mentioned the terrible reaction to the RSV vaccination I received in 2023, but I think my personal experience was not well received here!

I blame myself for believing that the ads on tv were helpful, with my many medical problems and age I should have waited for some time to be sure that this would be a good thing; in my case, it was not.
