You fundamentally misunderstand poison pills. Poison pills don’t prevent takeovers. They simply force companies to negotiate a better price. There is always a price point where a deal gets done. Officers and directors have a fiduciary responsibility to shareholders to maximize shareholder value. If the price is right, it’s bye bye.

You and others are free to continue to delude yourselves into believing what you want to believe about Anavex and Missling but you do so at the risk of your financial health.

Do yourself a favor and do some research on poison pills. From Investopedia: Poison pill plans can play a role in negotiating a more attractive price from a suitor.
