A lot of people are moving to places like Tennessee and out of the bigger cities....Not sure about chicago, but places like CA and NY are losing population and business.....

However, I don't see the evidence of your assertion,,,,,,,,,And since I live here and you don't, Im not going to take much stock in it...

Chicago’s population first began declining in 2015. Since then the city has lost more than 128,000 residents.
(Looks to be leveling off now)
