Hmmm. In todays medical realm, you really do not have to suffer ingrown nails. I don't know how it is down under, but my foot doctor asked me to consider getting my big toe nails removed. The procedure is an office visit per nail and only days recovery. Mine are still in good condition but I've hit 70 and controlled diabetes thankfully, but it won't take much. I do have common nail junk with the right, so it's a thought.

My Mother who was also diabetic suffered for years with ingrown nails and finally had some removed. It was night and day and she why the HELL did i wait so long.

I had athlete's foot and it was horrible. It felt like they were on fire and stunk to high heaven. Fortunately some pharmacy grease got me back on the right track but it went on for multiple months. I'm not a doctor person so I never went but II should have gotten some prescribed medication.

I have plantar fasciitis and if it wasn't for my visit to a podiatrist, I would have never known, plus I would have never got those much needed cortisone shots that helped me out big time. To go from feeling like I was walking on nails to make it feel like a pillow was amazing.

Of course the individual nail I actually stepped on is a different story but it's all the same thing. Don't be a dick like me and trust your doctors if something isn't quite right.

The athlete's foot thing sounds awful. I didn't know you got blisters. I thought was just what they call toenail fungus nowadays.
