Hmmm. In todays medical realm, you really do not have to suffer ingrown nails. I don't know how it is down under, but my foot doctor asked me to consider getting my big toe nails removed. The procedure is an office visit per nail and only days recovery. Mine are still in good condition but I've hit 70 and controlled diabetes thankfully, but it won't take much. I do have common nail junk with the right, so it's a thought.
My Mother who was also diabetic suffered for years with ingrown nails and finally had some removed. It was night and day and she why the HELL did i wait so long.
