I guess I never really put it into concept of my own life.. I was probably just having a good time and not really giving a care for what all that meant. I 've partied with some hard core racists but I was just always telling myself that if I kept my mouth shut, then I could beat feet as soon as I saw an opening..

It's a tricky sort of thing when you want to make friends and I'm sure you know this. If you open your mouth against them, bad things happen.

If you pretend to be on their side, they will protect you to an extant. They are not my friends but sometimes you need them to help yourself to gain access to places that you might have never been able to.

As it should be, to all of us. But the Stars and Stripes IS the U.S. flag. The Confederate flag is called the Stars and Bars.
