I used to travel Highway 27 south when I had to drive that truck many years ago. The road was really much better than driving Interstate 75 to Atlanta. But once you got pass Summerville, Georgia you knew life was changing. It was always fine with me; I have traveled in many places in America where you knew that I was an outside. But seeing that Star and Stripes Flad being flown was an insult to me. Once in a while you would see it flown alongside the American Flag. I would always look really hard to see that the American Flag was being flown higher.

Those flags were everywhere, there were even a stand selling those flags. Once you were in Rome and Calhoun you could see that these people lived in America, but cared more about a heritage that was once a reality.

This is America, and just like we see in this forum, people are free to express themselves how they like. But to live in a time that is from long ago, and cherishes slavery, and a time of white supremacy is difficult to see.
