Funny you say that. I spend way more time at a VA hospital than I would like to. Us Iraq and Afghan vets also joke on how odd it is that everyone over 60 was in Nam. Math ain’t math in is it.
I was in Nam 10 years before you enlisted 66-68. Even though hostilities stopped in the earlier 70’s the north spent nearly 10 years executing south Vietnam military and anyone associated with assisting the US. Many were imprisoned for years and many escaped too. Just some info.
