I agree. I see no need to make ice cream out of popcorn. But the popcorn wasn't raw. It was popped. "Raw" would be just the kernels, which nobody wants to chomp down on. And yes, it was way too sweet.

And most ice cream in the U.S. has eggs in it. To create a custard.

And why did she put BUTTER in it? Ice cream doesn't have butter as an ingredient. Except for butter pecan. For that, you cook the pecans in butter and brown sugar, and then add that to the cream part:
