The UK have formed a bi-partisan group in UK Parliament called the Future Cancer Inquiry. Both parties will both take credit for any cancer drugs that are approved. Dont underestimate the influence politics has or can have on drug approval. I dont like it either, but its all part of the game. Patient Advocacy Groups also have more influence now than at any point in time in regards to drug approval. Right or wrong its just the way it is. I am not saying its the only reason drugs are being approved, I am saying both are factored in the equation.
