Google has been ahead of the other hyperscalers in moving to 800G. It looks like they have their eye on a faster, lower power and likely less expensive option. That is exactly what they have been talking about for the past 2-3 years. Google is likely a lead customer under NDA and it fits their modus operandi as a leader in new technologies. The curtain is opening up.
