He could well be waiting on the conclusion of the OLE and, with it, some long term evidence on blarcamesine's effect on the disease course in Alzheimer's. This, perhaps not coincidentally, would match the likely submission timeline for the EU.

The FDA believes symptoms are causes, always, its the logic trap they have always been floundering in like a fly in amber. That is until someone else repeatedly and incontrovertibly proves symptoms are symptoms, and causes are unexpectedly something other that the largest symptom. Even then they still will tilt at the symptom being the cause like a daft housecat batting at mouse on a tv screen.
The EMA approving Anavex 2-73 for AD would be a shocking and powerful repudiation of the frequent and ancient FDA logic trap. I don't think TGD can educate and edify the FDA. I don't think TGD thinks he can change their stone heads even a little bit. Many have tried.
The EMA might think symptoms are symptoms and causes are causes, who knows. But an AD submission anywhere else than the FDA is our truly best shot on goal.
