In any intelligent, civil conversation, I agree, but politics in America is about choices. There are reasons for everything, but when it is time to vote , you choose, this one or that one.

Solid analysis. Nikki short-hands it with a 'guarantee' that is growing tiresome; elect Biden and we get president Harris within 4 years and she not talking about a live transition, f'king ghoul that she is.

As for Reagan, this did more for his prospects than the 'it's morning in America again' tv ads.

72% don't want Biden to run...CNN

https://www.cnn.com/2022/09/23/politics/joe-biden-poll-reelection-2024/index.html

There are plenty more out there the same on the rematch
Dems understandably just kinda ignore polling now

And lets not forget he is in the low thirty range now on approval

Here's an old one on age 68%

Spot on. Most all Dems who don't want Biden to run will vote for him. Many who don't want Trump to run will not vote for him. And since Biden beat him comfortably in 2020 where are the votes Trump believes will come to him that weren't there in 2020. Where are they gonna come from. Though so many of us have worries about it, the logic seems it should be a lay down misère.

"Biden is the logical Dem nominee. First, he's done a good job; that's important. And incumbency is always an advantage."
