Occam’s Razor tells us they resigned because they are terrified of their liability as Directors of this sorry mess. Although they won’t avoid the consequences of the Cummings lawsuit and the extraordinary transfer of $4 million of shareholders’ money to an offshore private company, they won’t be around for any future shenanigans of that nature.

As loanranger says, I hope their D&O insurance is up to date and comprehensive.

Funny how nobody has considered that both directors leaving simultaneously clears the decks, and could mean a buy-out, sale of Brilacidin, or reverse-merger is in the cards. If the company were truly dead, volume to the downside would be much higher. But that hasn't happened since the Feb 1st 8K was released.
Why is that?

And the directors are not "escaping" anything since they were on the BOD throughout the lease and court case.
