Diversification is key to offset risks. Let's say hypothetically you become a CEO of a company and then use company funds to start side business. Side business primary client can be company you are CEO of which makes for easy revenue. If possible sell side hustle and start all over with a new side business. Remember, diversification in today's world is our greatest line of defense.
