#174768 RE: KCCO7913 #174767

KCC, this is part of a response I gave to chs yesterday. Seems relevant to this thread. Can you comment?

More than any investment I’ve ever owned, this one perplexes me the most. I have to believe (or hope) that this is such a nascent technology that neither the market nor the potential customer base has caught up with the science. But, to your point, none of the external indicia of a potential breakout mover is here. Why? I don’t know.

I actually would love to hear KCC’s and Scope’s thoughts on this. There’s no denying that there’s a disconnect somewhere. Maybe, from the market’s perspective, it’s a wait-and-see approach. But I would have thought that if there was some consensus in the tech world that electro optical polymers were the next big thing, that we’d have a huge bullseye on our backs.

Maybe, but that seems silly to me. Why bother? An announcement with an Intel would be big enough to convince the market they are no longer a huge question mark that needs validation. And they could put some info in the pr for the "dumbing" down to the laymen's level.

Did you overlook this?: To me THIS is not a silly question at all:

KCC or other, if you were to remove what the company and Dr. Lebby say from the equation, and you had to rely solely on what you’ve learned from the white papers, industry articles, trade journals, and by attending conferences, and listening to what others who know the industry are, or are not saying about lightwave logic specifically, would you have anywhere near the confidence that you have now?
