The "We Got This" crowd fails to acknowledge the grim reality that Blarcamesine is most likely a temporary placeholder.

I doubt anyone thinks something that slows progression by 45% annually is the permanent solution. But, there is nothing on the horizon presently that approaches that - and nothing as safe. Progress in AD has been excruciatingly slow - AChEIs are still Rx'ed for every patient, 30+ years later.

Edit: btw, I think being the SOC for only a few years is hardly a grim possibility.

Perhaps many have not read this the PDD extension info? Notice the Drug Holiday when participants were OFF 2-73 and they went south.. and then as soon as allowed back on 2-73 again... right back down they go again.
