No, no. The program is actually quite "clean"

The free version has a small advertising banner, but no spy-ware.

You can get rid of the banner by paying $60 a year.

It's biggest strength (in my view) is that you can hook this program up to practically any quote source there is including streamers. And technical support is superb.

You can browse the SI thread, and you'll find mostly very satisfied users. (I'm one)

Bull- I was a skeptic...I've been using QT for about two months now. I started off by using it only for intraday and historical charting, but use it now as my trading platform as well. It rocks big time. I really like the flexibility of data feeds (news, quote, real time, streaming etc.)and the many other customizable features. It's hysterical that it's free.
