$ABQQ You did some deep diving in this Sticky post?

They just got TAYLOR SWIFT Eras tour for all China w. distribution/partnership revenue of 11% from 7K-10K cinemas (200 seats / cinema) at $6 per seat https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=173450971

This makes absolutely zero economic since on a Global Scale, Movie tickets the same price in India, Brazil, China & Mexico as in the US??? No Swifties could afford to go in those country's because of the disparity in income compared to the US!
TS is way smarter than this!
Quote:
"Taylor Swift has made the movie ticket a set price around the world in US dollars and it’s a concert movie it’s not a typical movie either so the $19.89 and $13.13 is set in every country."

What an eye popping post!
Thank you for digging further.
Happy to stand corrected regarding what Taylor's percentage take will be of the gross in China.
So obviously that leaves a larger portion to be shared by the Chinese government and their network of approved distributors including ABQQ and will make their "11 percent" even more significant.

I also did find the $6 average China movie ticket references but figured the Taylor Swift concert is considered to be an unusual "event" ticket.

Also why build 794 IMAX theaters all over China if you're not going to charge a higher price per ticket than the other 6,000 + "average" movie screen houses.

It's an exciting topic to be able to discuss as a shareholder because whether it's $6 $12, $13.13 or $19.89 there are a LOT of "meimei" fans in China and it's going to be a jolt of positive cash flow for a company that's busy reducing its outstanding shares via the buybacks.
