OK so I’ve been doing some deep diving and in China the foreign producer in this case Taylor Swift is capped at 25% of the revenues from box office sales. The rest is distributed in China as follows

The Chinese government takes a value added tax VAT of 3.3% and additional 5% as a film development fund. The distribution network/cinema Chinese producers gets the remaining 91.7%.

Of that 91.7% remaining the distributor in this case China film group corporation gets 43%, end of that 43% ABQQ gets 11% of it.

I would say most of the tickets will be $19.89 and a smaller percentage will be the $13.13 I’ll post the snapshots of this information tomorrow when I’m at my computer!
