Singapore also did very well in health care systems. So well that wealthy people from all over Asia have been visiting Singapore for years to get excellent medications there. An excellent revenue source for this amazing country in South East Asia. Good for Singapore. Good for Britain to accellerate its aspiration to be the premier in innovations in health care. Worth the effort and good for the country’s future. Imo.
NWBO big pharma partner has most likely been offering larger dollars to take the time to hit milestones. Because we all know that big pharma is in no rush to announce this new breakthrough
Maybe. This message board discussed such possibilities years ago, particularly when Ken Frazier and Roger Perlmutter discussed more generally that acquisition targets can be far more valuable to a company if they have taken their product further along — like past a phase iii conclusion, past an maa submission and beyond manufacturing licensing.
One can argue, and many have, that DCVax was placed on the back burner while BPs squeezed out their CI profits. Of course some BP could say, well no, we were really just interested in making certain DCVax-l could be produced on a global scale within a short time from any marketing approval they might receive.
Whatever the reasons, one of many indications that we are near submission is the NVCR stock price implosion. The helmet was probably long understood to be an emotional band-aid filling a desperate treatment void. That band-aid recently imploded.
The time for large pharma to cease worrying about incoming competition against their CIs on all solid tumors is 2028, when their patents start to fall off cliffs.
DCVax, as a brain tumor treatment initially, poses no threat to CIs as it nears imminent approval, imo, in 2nd half (possibly first) of 2024, but it will move quickly thereafter, imo, by trialing in indications across the board, particularly with combinations in all solid tumors. Those trials could reach accelerated topline in 2028. Meanwhile, off label use and automated production will have gained global traction by then. Imo.
