Chiocca and Riordan both have written countless of scientific papers. Very important works that rely on accuracy. Chiocca himself was past President of SNO. Both have relationship with various Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies because of their ability and experience.
If they did not fix this careless error, I am afraid their reputation would be on the line.
So I have a feeling he would fix this. Riordan has to do it. Imo.
