Fudster-extraordinaire, these scholars need to go with the JAMA article figures. To publish an opinion piece in a journal at a minimum requires a reading of the article. A fudster's post can by mistake go with what LL said. A fudster's post need not be as rigorous.

You seem to be losing brain cells at an alarming rate. Your posts are declining even faster. Any child knows when a researcher publishes a journal article, like the JAMA article, that should be your primary source. However, as you shed brain cells faster than your dandruff, you seem quite happy to quote one interview where she briefly misspoke about the article/trial (and you all know she briefly mispoke). Beyond your own bad behavior, you also encourage jealous hit researchers do the same. You guys are little dweebs.

I vaguely remember that Dr. Liau did state at some point (erroneously)
that 90% of the placebos crossed over but that apparently was a verbal
error which may or may not have been corrected but is far less important
than an error in Ethan Chen's printed review article which unless retracted
will continue to convey wrong facts to the readers.

It is possible that Chen et al., instead of checking the trial they were
reviewing, simply introduced Dr. Liau's verbal error into their review
and that in itself would constitute a sloppy piece of work.

So according to you when dr Liau mistakenly says something (that she corrected later) we should take those words as the golden standard.
However, when Dr. Liau publishes her findings in a prestigious medical journal with strict editorial we should all dismiss what she is saying as utter bull nonsense.
