I think you have something there Artguy with the windmills. Seems like a natural fit for a technology that is growing. Though none of the Green crowd around here want to see a windmill in their backyard, I think eventually we will see more and more around the country. Golisano has shown interest in developing windmills locally. I wonder if someone like that with his means could find a way to couple the technologies successfully.
There probably are other industries that could benefit from the increased efficiencies of TORVEC technologies like agriculture. Even though the price of corn is significantly higher, with the higher fuel costs agriculture is not benefitting fully from the better prices. I bet Deere or CASE/IH could use TOVC in its tractors. Do you think the efficiency and traction benefits would match those in the auto & truck industry? It would certainly be a good proving ground for the durability and would seem as good or better fit that TOROTRAC.
