AVATAR was extremely successful - those results were out 20 months ago.
Trofinetide was already approved. It doesn't seem to work for most patients and has a brutal side effect profile.
EXCELLENCE will be out soon. It takes what it takes in terms of time: there were lots of clinics in lots of places - just as with the P3 AD trial. We can hope that TLR comes out faster than AVATAR's results came out - 4 months - but we are close to that point and there were more clinics and more patients in EXCELLENCE so maybe it takes longer.
I would rather they be late than push and make mistakes.
