Blackrock is an Index Style Fund holder of $AVXL with the largest MCap holdings.

Their holdings are not actively managed, but selected into or dropped from their funds based on simple criterion, with the main one being MCap.

Therefore to balance their Index Style Funds when the value of e.g. $AVXL goes down, the fund buys more of the stock.

No one from Blackrock are thinking about A2-73, Kun Jin etc.

I recall that one of those ex-FDA staffers has expertise in designing preclinical tests, not anything we would hear about. The other didn't have a high profile, either. Kun Jin is at a different level, and it shows.

I believe, however, that those first two probably had a hand in suggesting and effecting Kun Jin's recruitment to Anavex -- which alone would make them good hires.
