Nobody who knows about biostatistics or from the FDA have ever joined a biotech before that didn’t succeed - hmm would stand up to a test…anyone have a guess?

Wait! Come to think of it, two ex-FDA staffers joined Anavex a few years ago and nothing much happened due to that.

Didn’t we also have an absolute WGT indication a few years ago by an ex-Hammond Care staffer directly involved with the Australian P2a trial joining still with not much to show for it despite the WGT choir feeling 100% optimistic about that.

Jin is proving to be a good hire. They started recruiting him right after the TLR fumble and he straightened it out. He had the company drop the poorly received ADL OR spin and focus on the endpoints that were met. He also apparently recalculated the regressions to regulatory standards. (What he did differently is unfortunately undisclosed, but there are several possible linear regression tweaks, like OLS. Or correcting the mITT.) He likely helped with using the ADNI database for brain volume analysis.

The CTAD deck can be quietly removed, and it was. The credibility damage was done, but the company hired Jin and Missling was replaced as Chairman. Good moves. Hoping the reporting improvement continues with the Excellence TLR. And that it shows good signal! Exciting.

You are reading too much into hiring of Kun Jin,, he is a retired bureaucrats and might have been pulled into by his buddy Fadarian, who is there since 2016 and done nothing for trial design etc. Dr Marwan joining was another hurrah moment on this board, but earlier he joined another failed company CRTX and then moved here. These people keep jumping companies, they have nothing to lose. Misleading is a used car salesman, guy just selling dream to retailer with his buzzwords, he has not delivered, pipeline is same since 2020, now even corp presentation has become stale since may2023.
