more than 4 digits is def dealer trading, not retail (us).
but we have no way of knowing for sure
who was selling and who was buying.
given we retailers can not place
either buy or sell limit orders for 00038 / 00039,
either the buyer or seller of those large blocks
must be a dealer.
could be mark diluting via a dealer,
setting 00038 / 00039 pricing
to hit 0004 retail buy orders,
but that doesn't really make sense,
as mark could just hit 0004 directly
and pocket the extra cash.
could be a dealer
catching a aggressive sell order,
either a limit sell @ 0003
or a market order dump,
but that doesn't make sense,
because a buying dealer
would fish at 00031, not 00039.
given the size of the trades
and the high end of range for 5-digit pricing,
my guess is these were negotiated trades
between two dealers at a price
slighting lower than 0004 retail bid
to incentivize the buyer.
but again, we don't know whether the seller
was mark diluting in large blocks
or one dealer wanting out
and another dealer wanting in.
if silent dilution, we'll know eventually.
and that would def erode the credibility
mark has striven to rebuild here.
time will tell.
i'm still standing pat for now.
