Well, Yeah ... when it is put that way we could have sold when the company did, However the implication is that an investment in a company is done one can expect the company to prosper in the future. At least when Apple bought in it was done as a pure buy .. they did not obtain shares as did Mr. Li. In that regard I view it as an obscured transaction designed to mis-lead. Was it fraud ? Perhaps not, but the story behind how it occured and how the future unfolded would not only be interesting reading but an example of how a foreign entity obtained IP absent any clear benefit or knowledge upon the shareholders.
In other words if they did indeed buy IP to use elsewhere for their own profit, it was a rather back door way of carting it out of the country to the detriment of honest people who deserve(d) more information and better treatment. As it stands now, we were led to believe that commercialization whould we introduced and we needed to be patient as it rolled out in variouls parts ot the world. Ergo, we deserve a complete explaination of why it could be accomplished in one part of the world and not the other where we may profit.
Does this make sense ? I don't know but it feels to me like I was scammed, and, I'd love to sell whatever shares I have for my story for a mere $.60c a share.
