The problem with using the last finra reported short number is that it always weeks old you know that. It is very interesting to watch the direct correlation on the shares reported throughout the day in relation to the trading, I find it fascinating.
It would do us no good to say well 3 weeks ago at the end of the day on a single day (T+2) the shorts reported such and such, I think that T+1 which is on the horizon may help but until they can move to instant reporting of trades will it be a fair market.
