There is no "agree to disagree," the number is published and is factual. You can't use short volume for any sort of calculation of short interest. It's bogus. That last time I saw someone that claimed they could do it, their calculated value was grossly off, and the only reason they were putting it up was to support their "get shorty" fairy tale. That's all it is on this stock as well. The only reason the PPS took a little run here was automated wash trading (that I refer to as robots).
