No, not every stock. Thinly traded penny and OTC stocks are used and abused by this group of traders because they can engineer massive volatility and then use that to constantly squeeze the longs, whom they see as suckers / children / sitting ducks.
That's the reality. There would not be so much bulletin board activity around this stock were it not for the manipulation. It doesn't happen. When you have the kind of instantaneous downrating of anything positive on the Yahoo message board, when you have what goes on there and here and elsewhere, by constantly new ID's with 5 or 10 at most followers often on Twitter, those are BURNER accounts for the manipulators. And yes, they trade up and down, so they often have multiple ID's. They make bets on timing to short and then to increase their position, and they work hard not to look too obvious. Those people are on bulletin boards for these kinds of companies for years and years and years MILKING retail and the companies of value. It's easy money. There are no institutional investors setting a floor or ceiling, it's just what these guys post from moment to moment.
