Let’s turn to something else for a minute. The Polymer Stack modulator. This is a packaged modulator that is completely designed and fabricated in-house. This doesn’t get enough attention, even though it is the most near-term marketable device from LWLG internally. I’d bet the expanded lab space in the immediate term is primarily going to be used for volume production of these devices. These are not modulators that go inside transceivers. They are standalone and are still used inside data centers for transmission as well as used for all sorts of testing/characterization. They look like those tiny gold box devices with fibers going in one side and out the other like what Polariton and Hyperlight have recently announced. I’d guess LWLG will announce availability of these packaged modulators in the coming months and we’re waiting on the lab space to be finished before saying “open for business”.
