Could be "milliions of devices" being said BECAUSE of the link to Intel/Ayar Labs!! Wake up people!!

SilOrix talking "millions of devices"!! SilOrix presentation

Per Adrian Mertens at PIC International 2023 Brussels from the SilOriX presentation:

1:16 Planning to produce in mass. We’re not talking hundreds, we’re talking millions of devices.
1:55 Organic electro-optic polymer can be dissolved. It’s a solution process, at least as scalable as silicon foundry processes.
3:50 Can be produced with completely standard foundry processes. 100% backend applied using heat and applied voltage, then allowed to cool while voltage is still applied.
4:35 Polling process, which can also be done on the wafer level
6:00 Long-term stable. 50% in the room raise doubts about stability as soon as they hear “polymer”. Testing at 130 degrees C for 6-7000 hours.
9:13 In a nutshell, totally scalable backend applied, doesn’t need changes in the foundry.
130 GBd PAM-4 sub-V driverless signal
800G devices are ready for testing, and then later integration.

-IBB

So it looks to me like SilOrix is ready to enable transceivers with LWLG inside, and they expect to be able to scale to sell millions of modulators, logically would think this might be another Licensing Agreement coming soon

Remember, One small Foundry & Customer can match Intel Photonic devices total volume of 2022, here what KCC worked up,

this White Paper linking LWLG to Intel/Ayar Labs is HUGELY significant news for anyone with "eyes to see" and as such I added some just after the Open, tempting to sell the ranch and put all the $$ into LWLG now, we already knew the MRR's had a fatal flaw, and we already knew EO Polymers could overcome that issue for them, now we know they have been working under NDA's just as I have told everyone here MANY times, the LWLG partnering deals are like a vast spider web strewn throughout the entire industry!!!

White Paper - Hybrid Integration of Exotic Materials in CMOS Platform

This white paper marks the first direct evidence of a connection between GlobalFoundries, (Intel)Ayar Labs, and EO polymers.
