As previously posted (I can repeat post the link if you want), Oil Ministry regulations call for them to decide (accept or reject) off-Shore oil lease applications within 60 days of receiving the application. Off-shore leases would seem to me to be more complicated than on-shore leases. Anyone know why it's going to take the Oil Ministry 9 months to approve the Megiddo lease when it only takes 2 months to approve an off-shore lease? Has Zion Oil ever said what's going on, other than the January 24, 2023 lease application is their third amended application (following their May 11, 2022 application and their Aug 29, 2022 application).
I guess 3 times is the charm, but it's been six months. An explanation FROM ZION OIL is needed.
