I think this is a great opportunity to bring up the existence of FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) for the uninitiated. A quick search of the term in Wikipedia reveals it's definition, history, and some of it's uses.
Wikipedia: "Fear, uncertainty and doubt (often shortened to FUD) is a propaganda tactic used in sales, marketing, public relations, politics, polling and cults. FUD is generally a strategy to influence perception by disseminating negative and dubious or false information, and is a manifestation of the appeal to fear."
There is a definite lack of interest here in discussing the status of the company. It's as if the increased level of vagueness by the company translates to increased lack of interest in details by its shareholders. I'm not sure people realize that has happened, but when nobody is willing to detail how the company has progressed with foundry work over the last 12 months...wow, just wow.
They've said what shareholders think they wanted to hear, but it seems most likely that it wasn't even the kind of commercial deal they were hoping for! But that apparently is OK with not just a few but nearly EVERYBODY here! In any case, it WAS the kind of commercial deal I expected way back in Dec and Jan.:
GP, I was thinking Polariton partnership would be announced early this month, but am now thinking it may wait a few months because there just won't be anything much more to announce -- and the company doesn't want a gap of nothing leading into the ASM in May.
I'm rooting for the company to succeed, so will be looking forward to what they have to say about the expansion usage in the coming months..but the level of excitement is baffling and just confirms so much..
