>>>The message is predicated on a clear understanding of what the act does and doesn't do.<<<

Yes, but only to an extent. The ultimate message is predicated on the involvement of (a) well-established company/companies in the Pain Arena.

Meaning those companies of financial means that have historically demonstrated political and lobbying prowess in “assisting” with governmental policy, hospitals, the medical establishment (e.g., insurance coverage) via involvement with politicians, heads of governmental agencies, and CEO’s of hospitals. Now it’s all relative to the NOPAIN Act, and money.

>>> The NOPAIN act may help in the big picture remediation of over reliance on opioids, or it may be window dressing for politicians. Either way Bioelectronics corporation does not currently stand to be a significant beneficiary of the act.<<<

It’s always window dressing to an extent. Beyond that, what BIEL stands to benefit from is predicated on those companies that would be interested in BIEL, and the extent to which they think they can benefit significantly, both monetarily and politically. One opened door opens future doors for them, and the money flows.

So, if there is any inkling that BIEL’s products fit the bill of the Act, can result in significant income streams for those power house companies, be of monetary benefit to the hospitals and surgical centers while avoiding litigation issues that have saddled them via opioids, then it will be done, even if it requires some political lobbying/tweaking to make it “fit”. Money talks.

Always follow the money.

>>> The clinical studies we have are indeed promising, but they are sadly not of high enough quality to convince the medical/insurance community. That is why it failed in the UK, and why no insurance company in America currently covers the therapy.<<<

We were approved at the top National Health Service level, but also needed to have approvals from the respective NHS local district levels. I believe BIEL was unaware of that, and when they finally did know, it was simply too much to overcome such an enormous political task at hand. Well-established companies of means and resources do thorough due diligence.

At present, we simply don’t know what may happen. A confluence of factors need happen. And if they do, BIEL could be in the spotlight, or even in the catbird seat.

The more well-established companies become interested in BIEL, BIEL’s value ascends proportionally. That leads to a buyout imo. One and done.

Wouldn’t bet the farm on it, but certainly worth a reasonable investment in the interim.

All imo.
