I don't believe that prior to a regulatory approval a company can properly attempt to boost public demand for the product. I.E. it's not legal to advertise a product that's not approved. I will agree that major industries have often invested in promising competing products that simply disappear after being bought out.
I don't believe this can happen here because the BP's will actually gain product sales for their products that work well in conjunction with DCVax-L. Perhaps their are certain products that no longer will be needed, but I believe the growth in the sale of others that complement it will more than compensate for it. More importantly, people living longer are the ones who'll continue to use their products the remainder of their lives.
I think we all need to remember, DCVax's are not by themselves curing cancer, but more cures and greater life expectancies are being achieved with our vaccines being used with other therapeutics.
