He said "be in production". That doesn't mean mass production. It means initial production. Your post is false and misleading. I noted also that he said at "the earliest". Now, it may well be that in his mind he meant "full production" but "initial" is the most reasonable interpretation when mind-reading isn't required.
I think the evidence lines up more accurately with HIS prediction than the company line, which they have demonstrated repeatedly to be overly optimistic and unreliable.
