Cronos Group (NASDAQ:CRON) rose 3% amid a report that its exploring its options after getting takeover interest. The Canadian cannabis company is working with a financial adviser to handle the takeover interest from companies including Curaleaf Holdings (OTCPK:CURLF), according to a Reuters report, which cited people familiar. Cronos (CRON), which is backed by Altria (MO), has a market cap of almost $750 million. Cronos (CRON) and Curaleaf (OTCPK:CURLF) declined to comment to Reuters.
