Not saying it was a bad thing. It seems Anavex sought government approval to continue to legally provide 2-73 to trial participants, post-trial. That certainly seems a necessary step to legally do that. I don't read that 2-73 is now available to all Rett Syndrom sufferers without regard to trial participation, unfortunately.

Of course, it is not fluff. There is no OLE for the Juvenile Rett trial now so Compassionate Use was needed - and is happening. There is no way to spin this as a bad thing. It is positive. It doesn't mean 2-73 is approved for Rett in Canada, but it is a vote of confidence.

Absolutely correct. This is a vote/statement of confidence by a countries regulatory body. Try to avoid the second guessing and the negative spins here. This looks like a real -credible -unspun sign of belief, FINALLY something positive . . Maybe even the END of the BEGINNING for some. . This is NOT YET our Petrie DISH MOMENT ...but close.

This also indicates there was enough positive responses to have treating physicians request to continue treating.
The question is what percentage responded and how strong were the responses.
