I completely agree with Bar on this one. This is almost certainly a planted story paid for by Sykes.

There is an entire industry out there peddling their services of planting advertisements in legitimate publications by masquerading as news. Their entire business case is to fool inexperienced or lazy editors or publishers looking for content. I am 99.999% sure this "story" is one of them.

Just the way Sykes and his business are mentioned is pretty much a dead giveaway. All the fake plant stories I have seen present their paying customer in the exact same manner, probably because these days these fake "stories" are AI generated.
