I don't really care whether Pharmacydude is mad about the takeover and thinks shareholders really screwed up in handing the company to Denner. There was a valid argument for letting the previous crew complete the turnaround they'd started a year ago. Since the proxy contest, there hasn't been a single meaningful positive development despite this being a year when all kinds of deals were going to be signed. And the earnings call wasn't very promising. I like Pharmacydude's posts because a lot of what he says makes sense and I need some contrarian viewpoints to keep my own rose-colored, cup-is-half-full tendencies in check.

No doubt that it put pressure on HealthNet to settle sooner rather than later once the judge allowed the case to proceed. Maybe they had some smoking guns in the emails they would have had to turn over that made it in their interest to settle.
