Tesla doesnt just have a sudden unintended acceleration issue it also an issue where, for reasons unknown, drivers lose control of steering.

The Naples Police Department confirmed to NBC2 that the driver reported losing the ability to steer, which caused the vehicle to go off the road prior to being able to stop.

The issue I surmise stems from GPS glitching and the computer thinking a new route is available. Then Teslas emergency lane departure system (non autopilot system) takes control trying to steer the Tesla along the new path it thinks is available.
