That's perhaps the simplest investment rule that works. You'd think everyone would follow it. Yet everyday we see locals piling into putrid rubbish and even averaging down in the quest for lottery-like returns. Diversification is vital because some scams are almost impossible spot. Enron, for instance. Or some of the recent troubled banks which held loads of Treasury securities.

"W. Buffett's junk food breaks"

I m nott a bigg pop (soda for those nott from the Upper Midwest and Coke for you Southerners) drinker. Iced tea, powdered sugarfree lemonade/limeade, and V8 are my usual drinks. I do occasionally buy some of the new "Zero Sugar" pop like Zero Sugar Coke, A&W root beer, Dr. Pepper, and 7-Up - butt nott much by most folks standards.

IMO, Coke Zero is much better than Diet Coke or the old Tab (which was interesting in its own way). Very recently I bought one can of regular Coke - what used to be called Coke Classic. Chilled it in the fridge and poured it over large cubes of ice.

That stuff is good. I can see why Warren owns it and drinks it.

I avoid HFCS high-fructose corn syrup, even though I have been a collaborator in the production of same. That regular Coke is good. Now I m intrigued to try a bottle of Coke that has real sugar instead of HFCS. The deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep discount grocery store sells these sucrose-based pops imported from Mexico and sold by the individual bottle. I will buy a bottle next time I shop there.

Warren has good taste in pop. Coke will always be in demand. Something about that secret mix. Tres bon.
