It looks like a lot of work, but it isn't.

It spends almost 24 hours on the smoker. The hardest part is staying sober through the cook.
If your smoking "old school" with wood, the temps is hard to keep constant. Beer helps with the monitoring.

A pellet grill allows for better control. Beer is needed for the boredom.
