I don't have any evidence that there are good and bad detention centers so I'll say that both govts are culpable for an execrable system.

Agree on the false equivalence and well said.

The comparisons with parties and their behaviors is also something I would agree with.

What my simple point (said in an earlier post) was simply about that execrable system.
Not just detention centers. All the expressions which come back to a broken model (of human endeavor) that creates these systemic failures.
Where there is equivalence between the two parties or any human organizations that are inherently corrupted and destined to failure.
Unless an acute and laser focus on ideals above the fray
You are forever condemned to repeat the failures.
The Queen, Gandhi, MLK, The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, etc,.. these are examples of those with an eye on the prize.
The rest are just bickering and jockeying for power.

Look at Jesus trying to set an agenda

Thanks. When another's reply is already sitting on a post to me when i finally get on so long after you guys i always appreciate it. And most every time
i basically agree with it, and am able to either add to it or reply to another part of the post not yet addressed. That goes for yours this time too.
